I enjoyed your very informative and well written article. Maybe next week you could compile one on the substantial amount of Merced River water that will flow straight through existing storage facilities this year, headed for ruin in the Pacific Ocean. How many water storage years will we lose in this one? What are the economic impacts on the region, due to our inability to store excess for future use during drought years? May make interesting reading for residents - stewards of this vital public resource.
