Scott Gerald Bradford

Scott Bradford Scott Bradford Scott Gerald Bradford went home to be with his Father in heaven on Friday, May 27 at the age of 44.

He was currently living in Los Angeles. He grew up in Mariposa, where he still has many friends. He graduated from Mariposa County High School in 1985.

Scott is survived by his mother, Linda Smith; and step-father, Steve, of Fresno; his father, Merrell Bradford of Oakhurst; brother, Clay Bradford of Oakhurst; sister, Lorie Bradford of Coarsegold; his partner, Jason, of Los Angeles; his grandmother, Reba Ruggiero; his beloved niece, nephews, uncles and aunts, and many, many friends.

For the past several years, Scott operated his own production company where he produced many televsion commericals and music videos. He was very well known in the industry.

There will be a memorial in Los Angeles, but because of short notice, his family would like to give his friends and family the opportunity to celebrate his life with them at a memorial service at his mother’s home in Fresno on June 11. For details, email lindaraysmith@comcast.net.

Some twenty-five years ago, I

Some twenty-five years ago, I befriended a beautiful young man with a smile a wide as an ocean, a laugh as loud as thunder, and a spectacular personality to match. It was the summer of 1986 in Fresno, Calif. It was hot and dry. He lived on Home Ave., I lived on Vassar Ave. We would ride our bikes between both places. He helped me in the garden; I helped him paint his apartment. We took classes that fall at Fresno City College. I worked in an Italian restaurant; he worked in a pizza parlor. Then, he'd had enough of the San Joaquin Valley. He up and moved to Los Angeles to seek his fame, fortune and romance. Never to heard from again. Until now. How sadden am I to read about his passing.
