What's the big deal? This

What's the big deal? This should be a cost savings for the state. I seem to remember a story of the person running the place stealing money anyway. Should be a big money saver!

I'll bet there's not too many

I'll bet there's not too many cuts destined for any of the other State agencies which aren't directly in the publics eye such as: "California Task Force on Culturally and Linguistically Competent Physicians and Dentists, California Telephone Medical Advice Services (TAMS), California Water Environment Association (COWPEA) * California Water Resources Control Board * California Welfare to Work Division * California Wetlands Information System * California Wildlife and Habitat Data Analysis Branch * California Wildlife Conservation Board * California Wildlife Programs Branch," Only to name a few of the hundreds. It's all a ploy to raise taxes don't cha know?
