Seems like a mistake.

Seems like a mistake. According to www.education.com Mariposa Elementary is the lowest rated elementary school in the county. Our children will be going from a 6 rating for Cathys Valley to a below average 4 rating for MES. Coulterville students will be going from a 7 rating school to a 5 rating school with Lake Don Pedro. Once again the kids are the ones that are going to be hurt by being forced to go from a better school to a worse school educationally. At least put them in Woodland Elementary which is rated 8 out of 10. The only other school in the county rated as high as an 8 is Mariposa Middle School, another one targeted for closure and at least partially being bundled with under-performing MES. Give our kids the best education we can give them by rewarding higher performing schools by keeping them funded.
