No wonder the Apt. burned up

No wonder the Apt. burned up the heat pump was running 24-7 for over a week ! Every time i saw it it was compleatlly frozen up. It seems more than a coincidence that the Apt. burned up after it was worked on. After all it was an electrical fire. Wrongfull death?

Rude person, for your info it

Rude person, for your info it was not the heater, it came with in the wall that started the firer, and no he didnt have the heater on 24-7. he turned it off when he was sleeping, he was a man that didnt trust things runing all the time. that was very rude on your part saying anything like that, when you didnt know what really happen, you saying something like that when he has a loving son and grandkid. they are in pain of lossing a family member

well, thank you, after what

well, thank you, after what has happen, it seen like no one really know about anything, as it was my grandpa. my dad and i didn't know much of anything, but really, thank you very much, and also thank you to the people that where going to work at the hospital that morning they are the ones that saw the smoke and got everyone else out of the build so they where safe, the people that do know what happen is not letting us know what happen, this is a very sad time for my family, thank you so much for everyone that help, it just shows how much people do care.. crystal

First on the scene were two

First on the scene were two Mariposa County Deputy Sheriffs, Mike King and Rudy Mirelez. It is my understanding that they rushed into the smoke-filled apartment and pulled the victim out at great risk to themselves. I think the Gazette is remiss for not mentioning these two heroes that are certainly a great asset for the Sheriff's Office and should be commended.

No mention of the two

No mention of the two deputies was made by fire officials, and that information was not readily available.

The correct spelling for the

The correct spelling for the second fire captain would be Gene Potkey.

I heard about two Deputy

I heard about two Deputy Sheriffs who may have been first on the scene, made entry, searched for victims, and eventually assisted in removing the victim from the residence. I was told they did not have any fire resistant equipment or breathing equipment and entered at great risk to themselves before fire personel arrived. Sounds to me like they need to be identified and given a big thank you.

Ron Wallace is my grandpa. He

Ron Wallace is my grandpa. He was a very good man. I want to say thank you to all of the people that where there helping out. That means alot to us. You all did great job geting there fast so the fire didn't go anywhere else. Thank You!
