Autumn colors in Mariposa County are stunning. Harvest time is full of colorful and vibrant images. Get out the camera, brushes or gather natural products to capture this special season. Mariposa Agri- Nature Trail is sponsoring a “Weekend in the Country: A Tomato Fest” the last weekend in September, 2011.

The event will include a judged art competition for photography, oils and watercolors and natural, three dimensional creations. Young and old, professional artists and artists in training should look for applications next spring. There will be a special focus on the tomato and other veggies.
