Lee Ann Burns
Lee Ann Burns, a 30-year resident of Mariposa, passed away at home on Friday, Aug. 27.
She was born in Woodbury, NJ, on April 25, 1951, to Martin and Virginia Georgi. She graduated from Villa Cabrini High School in 1969. Lee Ann was a licensed vocational nurse working the registry in Los Angeles, then at John C. Fremont Hospital and several doctors’ offices in Mariposa and Oakhurst.

She is survived by her husband, Leigh Brown; daughter, Heather Thomason; granddaughter, Meghan Thomason; greatgrandson, Joseph Rangle; brothers, Robert and Steven; as well as several nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends.
There will be a celebration of life memorial gathering and potluck lunch at the Bootjack Stompers Hall on Sept. 25 at noon. A Lee Ann Burns Memorial Fund has been established at the Yosemite Bank Mariposa branch. For information, call 742-6929.
