The Mariposa Butterfly Festival is seeking recipes from Mariposa County residents for a cookbook.

They are including a section of prize winning recipes, so if anyone has an award winning recipe they would like to see in print now is the chance.

The cookbook is to be sold to help fund the purchase of butterflies for the festival. Send favorite recipes to Mariposa Butterfly Festival, 4933 Lookout Mountain Road, Mariposa, CA 95338 or e-mail to Ruralnetta@aol.com.

All recipes are welcome. If the committee receives enough children’s recipes, it may have a special section for them.
