I live on Cole Rd. and just

I live on Cole Rd. and just came home an hour ago to find a huge berm of dirt running across the whole length of my driveway. It was probably about 9 inches tall, with a drop on either side. I had no way to get around it, so I went over it. I have a small car, and it rides low, so, much to my dismay, the entire undercarriage was scraped on the dirt. The whole time that this was happening, there were members of the road crew about 30 feet away watching me. I know that I am the one who drove over this bump, but I didn't have any other choice, there is no other way to enter the property. I am grateful that they are fixing the road, and all I am saying is that it would be nice if the crew would take the initiative and be conscientious toward the residents, instead of us having to complain to Public Works so that our vehicles do not get ruined.
