Book signing set in Coulterville

Leroy Radanovich, photographer and author/publisher of Yosemite Valley, Mariposa County, Yosemite National Park and vicinity and the recently released, Yosemite Valley Railroad, will be available at the Northern Mariposa County History Center (NMCHC) on Saturday, Sept. 18 from 4 to 6 p.m. to sign his books.

All four books include photos that Radanovich has taken over the years as well as rare, historic photographs gathered from other sources.

The NMCHC was established as a charitable organization in 1976 with the History Center opening to the public in 1980. Visited by thousand each year, including international travelers from Europe, Asia and even Australia, the various displays and photos provide an authentic glimpse of the life and times of the pioneers who helped settle the area in the early 1800’s and those who traveled west during the 1849 California goldrush.

Memberships and volunteer opportunities are available. For information, contact Gail Tyler at 878-3015 or email her at nmchc@inreach.com.
