Another great thing about Mariposa

I have lived in Mariposa a little over a year, and I am finding out things almost daily that are really great reasons for living here. I had a total knee replacement at Mercy Hospital in Merced. After five days, I was asked where I would like to go for rehab. Mariposa, I replied.

I was transferred to John C. Fremont on a Monday evening. Tuesday morning I met Dr. Rogers, who checked me out, etc. Also, on Tuesday, the physical therapist, Jill, came in. Jill or her partner, Patty, came in twice a day for an hour of intensive exertion, but it is paying off. (They are still coming to the house, by the way.) The rehab is in a small unit of eight beds, so guess what? Put on your nurse's light, and usually within a minute, in walks a nurse or a nurse's aide. The food was pretty good. My favorite two items were homemade zucchini soup and buttermilk biscuits.

So, need rehab? I recommend Mariposa at the John C. Fremont.
