School bus rearended on Spring Hill

29 students and driver uninjured

Law enforcement officers at the scene of a school bus and vehicle crash on Spring Hill Friday morning survey the situation.Friday, Sept. 10--Around 8 a.m. this morning, a car smashed into the rear end of a school bus going up Spring Hill on Highway 49 South.

The driver claimed to be blinded by the intense rising sun.

None of the students (29) or the bus driver sustained any injuries according to Fire Chief Jim Wilson. The vehicle did incur substantial damage to its front end, but the driver was not hurt. The school bus was merely scratched on its substantial rear bumper.
