My name is Bernhard Wall. I am 12- years-old and in seventh grade. This is my first year in 4-H poultry. I am raising a duck to show at the fair this year. In May, I bought a duck and named it White Fang, bcause she has cool teeth. I have enjoyed having her as a project and a pet. I have fed her, watered her, and watched her grow. She has a pond to swim in and other duck friends to play with. This year, I learned how to clean and show White Fang.

I play varsity football for the Mariposa Bears. I play as tight end on offense and safety on defense. I would like to invite you to the 2010 Mariposa County Fair. It will go from Friday, Sept. 3 to Sunday, Sept. 6. Please come and enjoy.

I will be showing my duck on Saturday, Sept. 4 at 9 a.m. in the poultry barn. The auction will start at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 5. Following the auction, all buyers are invited to a complimentary dinner.
