My name is Sierra Hartsog, and I’m from the Triangle 4-H Club. I am raising a meat goat this year to show and sell at auction, and his name is “Rocky.” It took a lot of attention and care to get him ready for fair, and it was a lot of fun for me. He is a boer goat, and he is white with brown head and ears.

When you go to the Mariposa County Fair this year, I hope you plan to support the Junior Livestock Auction. it will be on Sunday, Sept. 5 at 3 p.m. in the Strathearn Pavilion. I would really appreciate your interest in buying my goat. You can also come visit me and Rocky anytime at the goat/sheep barn or watch us in our market and showmanship classes on Saturday, Sept. 5, starting at 9 a.m. Rocky and I thank you for reading our letter to you and hope to see you at the fair, where it’s a “Big Time in a Small Town.”
