My name is Wade Wight, and I am in sixth grade at Woodland Elementary School. I am a member of the Triangle 4-H club. I also play football, baseball and basketball and play trombone in my school’s band. This is my first year to show an animal at the Mariposa Fair. My lamb is a suffolks cross named “Bo.” I have spent a lot of time with Bo this summer. I have walked him, fed him and practiced with him to get ready for the show ring.

I will be showing and selling Bo at the 2010 Mariposa County Fair. I would like to invite you to the Junior Livestock Auction on Sunday, Sept. 5 at 3 p.m. at the Strathearn Pavilion.

I hope you will be able to come to the fair and see all the 4-H animals at the auction. Please come and bid on a lamb you’d like to try to buy.
