ALYSSA TOSO FROM MARIPOSA COUNTY, IS THE CURRENT STUDENT PRESIDENT, STUDENT CUTTING DIRECTOR, AND STUDENT STATE REPRESENTATIVE FOR DISTRICT 5. California High School Rodeo Association District 5 is now accepting membership applications for the 2010 – 2011 high school rodeo season. District 5 includes the counties of Amador, Alpine, Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, Stanislaus, and Tuolumne.

All students in the sixth through 12th grade with a minimum GPA of 2.0 are eligible to compete in the association. High school rodeo is a place to make friends for a life time and compete against some of the top athletes in the nation.
