CHSRA accepts membership applications

ALYSSA TOSO FROM MARIPOSA COUNTY, IS THE CURRENT STUDENT PRESIDENT, STUDENT CUTTING DIRECTOR, AND STUDENT STATE REPRESENTATIVE FOR DISTRICT 5. ALYSSA TOSO FROM MARIPOSA COUNTY, IS THE CURRENT STUDENT PRESIDENT, STUDENT CUTTING DIRECTOR, AND STUDENT STATE REPRESENTATIVE FOR DISTRICT 5. California High School Rodeo Association District 5 is now accepting membership applications for the 2010 – 2011 high school rodeo season. District 5 includes the counties of Amador, Alpine, Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, Stanislaus, and Tuolumne.

All students in the sixth through 12th grade with a minimum GPA of 2.0 are eligible to compete in the association. High school rodeo is a place to make friends for a life time and compete against some of the top athletes in the nation.

There will be a membership meeting Aug. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Oakdale Rodeo Grounds. For more information, contact Danette Toso at 376-2304 or dwtccr@aol.com.
