Hello, my name is Sarah Jacobsen, and I am 15 years old. This is my first year in FFA, but my second year raising a duck for the fair. I have decided to raise a duck this year because I had a blast last year with my ducks, and I want to have a fun time this year as well.

This year, I received my ducks when they were only one-day old. Receiving them so young has taught me patience, responsibility, time management, and money management as well.

I am inviting you to come and see me at the Mariposa County Fair this year. It will be Sept. 3 through 6. I will be in the poultry barn, and available to answer any of your questions about ducks as best I can. Please come and see the results of my fellow FFA members’ hard work this year.
