The Grizzly Family Hoedown II will begin at 1 p.m. today at the Mariposa County Park.

The event is a fund raiser for MCHS athletics. There will be great music from Killin' Time and Mike Hammar and the Nails. A bundle of raffle prizes including a European mountain bike, and items from Logan Mankins of the New England Patriots.

The Mariposa Lions Clubs will be cranking out their tasty tri-tip sandwiches, and there will be hot dogs for the kids, as well as the popular obstacle course that was at last year's event. Plus there will be sno-cones and cotton candy available.

The entire community is invited to attend and support the locals schools and student athletes.
