Arvest Edgar Arney, Jr. was born Oct. 10, 1958, and died Aug. 1.

He worked in maintenance at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds for 15 years.

Mr. Arney is survived by his wife, Lewene Arney of Mariposa; son, Nathan Arney of Oklahoma; and daughter, Nichole Arney of Mariposa.

A memorial potluck will be held on Aug. 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the fairgrounds at Fiske Picnic Area. All are welcome to celebrate his life.
