Sierra Tel Business Center closes

Sierra Tel would like to advise its customers of changes that are taking place at the Mariposa Business Office at 5108 Highway 140.

Sierra Telephone business office continues to be open to serve customers with all their needs, including taking payments, requests for new service and changes to service, and offering a variety of telephones and related equipment. There are no plans to close or relocate this office.

There will be some restructuring and remodeling of space in anticipation of Golden State Cellular establishing a brand new store in the area formerly occupied by Sierra Tel Business Center. Beginning Aug. 11 a Golden State Cellular customer service representative will be on site to assist customers.

Sierra Tel Business Center wants to assure its customers that all their printing, shipping, and other office services will continue to be available in the Oakhurst location in the Old Mill Center next to Vons. Business center printing orders can be facilitated through the Sierra Telephone business office by initially calling the Oakhurst business center to place an order or to make arrangements for delivery of the project. In addition, STI modems may be picked up, dropped off, or exchanged at the Mariposa Sierra Telephone Business Office.

“During, and after, this transition, we continue to be committed to doing ‘whatever it takes’ to meet the needs of our customers and our community,” said Sierra Telephone’s Sherri Colgate. “We encourage you to stop by our Mariposa business office or the Oakhurst business center or just give us a call at 966- 4444, 966-3636 or 966-7777.”

On Sept. 28, Sierra Telephone, Sierra Tel Internet, and Golden State Cellular will be hosting a chamber mixer at the Mariposa Office from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
