Golden State Cellular has announced the addition of 3G service to its cell site located at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds. Adding to existing 3G sites at Mt. Bullion, Miami Mountain and Cathey’s Valley, Mariposa County now has significant wide ranging 3G coverage.

With customers’ increasing appetite for mobile data applications such as: email, internet access and picture messaging, 3G Mobile Broadband provides a more robust data experience with higher data rates (speed) and the ability to transfer larger files, stream video and music.

The company is scheduled to add the technology to multiple existing sites before the end of 2010.
