Susie Rodrigues Dubberke was born Aug. 24, 1955, and died July 17.

Susie graduated from Mariposa County High School and then joined the Armed Forces as a military police officer and toured the world. She was the loving daughter of Frances LaDaun Rodrigues and Robert Rodrigues of Cathey’s Valley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Robert Rodrigues, Rex Rodrigues, Niles Rodrigues, Woody Rodrigues and Robert Rodrigues, Jr.

She is survived by her children who she loved so much; Anthony Moistant of San Jose, Cassandra Moistant and Cathrine Moistant of Virginia; Tilly Sanchez, April Sanchez and Jake Sanchez of Alabama; and Luke Dubberke of Mariposa; her sisters, Toni Rodrigues of Idaho, Kathleen Seaton of Taiwan, Lisa Green of Cathey’s Valley, Frankie Stepp of Merced, and Melanie Singer of Tehachapi; brother, Lance Rodrigues of Mariposa; and many nieces and nephews.

Her family will hold her in their hearts forever.

Susie will have a marker placed at the National Cemetery in Kern County and a head stone placed at Cathey’s Valley Cemetery near her mother.
