Todd is sorority’s Woman of the Year
ELINOR TODD, CENTER, IS PICTURED WITH FELLOW SORORITY MEMBERS ANN SHEDIVY, LEFT, AND MARLENE BURKE.
Recently, Delta Nu Iota members voted to award member Elinor Todd the honor of being Woman of the Year. She has served as president, sunshine committee chairman, and corresponding secretary, as well as supported the multitude of projects the sorority undertakes.
Todd stood out when creating seasonal tokens for the residents of the Ewing Wing at John C. Fremont Hospital along with her committee partners.
Each Summer, Todd and her husband, Bob, host a July social event at their home for members and their husbands. This month the theme is western, and a barbecue is planned.
Todd was presented a porcelain clock painted by Celee Evans, which is traditionally given to the Woman of the Year for her term. The clock bears yellow roses, the official flower of the sorority.
