The eighth annual Sultry Summer Shindig and “Show Your Chrome” car and motorcycle show will be held Aug. 7 in Coulterville. There will be vendor booths with many items and live music.

There will also be custom bikes and classic cars at the show. This year ’s shindig celebrates the building of the long-awaited Coulterville Community Park stage, which this event has been raising money toward over the last five years.

There will also be a kids fun zone, hosting a giant water slide, the opportunity to win one of several bikes, games and a pie eating contest.
