Never disappointed

In regard to the article by J. Wass concerning our credit union in Mariposa, I was genuinely surprised to read his feelings about its service. I have used that bank for quite awhile, in busy times and not so busy, and I have never been disappointed in the friendliness and service offered me personally. I know the last manager and enjoyed her very much, but rarely had her wait on me as a clerk. She was always at her desk attending to her responsibilities, computer and otherwise. Once in a great while, she acted as a clerk in the front when it required an extra person, but not often.

She has since retired, and we have a new manager who I am getting to know. Whenever there is a new person or job, there is always a time of adjustment on everyone’s part, and I have been pleased with her friendly desire to get to know the patrons and also help out as needed. As a manager, her main responsibilities are at her desk, computer and appointments.

I have always enjoyed the girls in the front. They are friendly, work with skill and as swiftly as they can when the room is full, and always with smiles. I haven’t observed them needing much help or being frustrated because the manager wasn’t present.

J. Wass must have been there on awkward days or had a bad experience somewhere along the line. I have accounts, for one reason or another, in three different banks, plus have used banks all of my married life (56 years), and I think this is a teriffic bank. We are so glad that we are part of its growth in Mariposa.
