The Mariposa Safe Families Shared Leadership Committee is sponsoring the fifth annual family potluck on Wednesday, Aug. 4, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Mariposa town park. There will be games and great food for all. Chicken, beverages and utensils will be provided.

Participants are asked to bring a side dish or what ever they can to share plus a blanket or lawn chairs. Parents interested in learning more about shared leadership, a group that offers parents opportunities for leadership and community involvement, are encouraged to attend. Those planning to attend should call 966-2211 to ensure there will be enough food. This is an alcohol and other drug free gathering.
