August is Kids’ Month at New Life Christian Fellowship. Many activities are being planned. These will include guest speakers every Sunday in kids’ church, which takes place during the worship service that begins at 10:30 a.m.

NLCF will also be collecting backpacks and school supplies beginning in July throughout August. The backpacks and school supplies will be delivered to kids who need them on Aug. 22 at a pizza party and kids’ fair in the NLCF gym after regular worship service.

The pizza party proceeds will benefit Project Destiny, an outreach ministry based in the Phillipines that spreads the word to kids who live on the street.

The kids’ fair will have a bounce house, games, and arts and crafts. Backpacks and school supplies will also be available through Ethos by calling 742-4256.

NLCF is located at 5089 Cole Road in Bootjack. Anyone interested in donating backpacks and/or school supplies or who has a child who needs a backpack can call the church at 966-7734 or Trisha Chalk at 742-7184.
