I would like to tell you all about an amazing woman, Donna Cordero. She moved here six years ago from Everett, Wash. She knew nobody and was completely out of her element, a big city girl in small town Cathey’s Valley.

In a matter of months, she was involved in Cathey’s Valley Elementary PTIC, from there 4-H, then cheerleading. From countless fund raisers and volunteer events to an amazing Girl Scout leader. She is the mother of three and mentor to countless children.

If you want to move here and be a part of the solution and not part of the problem, this is how you do it. We all owe her a debt of gratitude.

And by the way, she is an amazing wife, too.
