The “First Fridays” Art Hop in downtown Mariposa is seeking local artists and musicians to participate in this  monthly event.  Artists will be asked to set up a display of their artwork and be present from 5 to 8 p.m. to talk about and sell their pieces.  Musicians will also be asked to be available from 5 to 8 p.m. to play music and receive donations for their contribution to the Friday night event.

The Art Hop events are scheduled for the next five months through the end of the year.  The date for the next art hop is Friday, Aug. 6.  There are 25 Art Hop venues, many of which will need an artist and/or a musical act to be present at their location.
