Saturday, July 17--Mariposa County's exhibit at the California State Fair in Sacramento claimed a silver medal earlier this week.

Placer County claimed the Best of Show Award. Silver awards went to Mariposa County, and exhibits from Colusa, Contra Costa, Glenn, Humbolt, Lake, Mendocino, Mono, Santa Cruz, Sierra, Stanislaus, Tehema, Tulare, Yolo, and Yuba Counties.
