A PAIR OF FIREFIGHTERS ARE SILHOUETTED IN FLAMES AS THEY BLOCK AN ADVANCING WILDLAND BLAZE FROM APPROACHING A RESIDENCE LATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON. THE VEGETATION FIRE WAS SPARKED JUST OFF OF HIGHWAY 49 SOUTH NEAR BOYER ROAD AT AROUND 4:30 P.M. AND RAZED ABOUT AN ACRE, THREATENING ONE HOME. FURTHER DETAILS WERE NOT AVAILABLE FROM CAL FIRE AT PRESS TIME.
