Butler fund raiser set for this Saturday
The fund raiser for Mike Butler, who was injured in a hang gliding crash in June, will be held Saturday, July 24 at 1 p.m. at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds.
There will live music in the Amigo Stage area. “Killin’ Time” and the Redding Brothers Band will perform. Line dancing with Sue will also take place. A meal ticket for $8 includes a hamburger, hot dog, garden salad, potato salad, drink and dessert.
Raffle prizes have been donated by Glenda’s Cowgirl Candy, Bison Creek Ranch, Chappell Winery, Coast Hardware, Will Smith’s Plumbing, Airport Inn, Take ‘n Bake Pizza, Chocolate Soup, Head Hunters, Mountain Yoga, NAPA, High Country Health and Cafe, Mountain Flowers and Gifts, Scott Chappell Brewery, Sierra Tel Business Center, and Lou’s Speedie Lube. Other donations came in from Sierra Tel Business Center, and Lee Jorgensen paid for the use of the fairgrounds. Happy Burger donated the hot dogs, and Pioneer Market donated all the hamburgers and beans.
