MCFD call log consists of twelve stations located throughout the Mariposa community responding to countywide incidents.

Spotlight Call of the Week: Monday, July 5, vegetation fire call on Boyer Road. Due to the quick action of Mariposa County Fire and CALFIRE crews the fire only threatened a barn and burned around half an acre. The fire was possibly sparked by a riding lawn mower.

In the last few weeks MCFD has seen several vegetation fires started by metal blade mowers. MCFD would like to remind residents to switch over to string bladed cutters in this high fire season and have a water source close by.

Company #37 Bootjack, #27 Mormon Bar, #29 Lushmeadows, and #21 Midpines responded to the call.
