I was in Mariposa last weekend with my family, and was on Highway 49 very shortly after the horrible accident that took one life. Our family's prayers go out to the victims, families and friends.

May I respectfully offer a suggestion to families in Mariposa. We were able to send our daughter to a driving school called B.R.A.K.E.S., put on by Doug Herbert, a NHRA champion driver. He lost his two sons, when they were killed in a car accident. He and his drivers teach teens and young adults how to avoid driving distractions, high speed accident avoidance, and driving in adverse conditions. It cost us $75. You might Google him to find out if he is having a clinic soon. It is well worth it. Maybe if enough people ask him for help, he would have a clinic near Mariposa.
