June 21: •A burglary in process was reported from Sierra Vista Drive. •There was a raccoon issue on Parker Drive. •Squatters were reported on Wilbur’s Way. •A domestic dispute on Silva Road ended with an arrest.

June 22: •Reckless driving was reported on Highway 140. •There was a dead bat at a home on Grist Road. •A dog was left in a vehicle that was parked on Smith Road. •A traffic accident was reported from Hillside Drive.

June 23: •A loud music complaint came in from Darrah Road. •Bears were in the trash at a home on Crystal Aire Drive. •A snake was in a house on Carleton Road. •There was a rattlesnake issue on Colorado Road and a similar problem with baby rattlesnakes on Woodland Drive.

June 24: •There was a verbal dispute on Tip Top Road. •Deputies responded to a physical dispute in Mariposa. •Trespassing was reported on Ersnt Road. •Harassment was reported on Hunters Valley Road.

June 25: •Camping items were stolen on Wilbur’s Way. •There was a drug violation reported on 10th Street. •An out of control juvenile was reported on Dogtown Road. •Someone was shooting on Carter Road.

June 26: •Dispatch took a report of elder abuse from Granite Lane. •People were being loud at the visitors’ center. •There was a boating accident at Lake Mc- Clure. •A possible drunk driver was reported in Mariposa.

June 27: •Unsafe shooting was reported on Texas Hill Road. •There was a power outage at the Lake Don Pedro subdivision. •A domestic dispute ended with two arrests in Coulterville. •Petty theft was reported at Yosemite View Lodge.

The above listed calls are actual reports to Mariposa County Sheriff’s Dispatch. These are just a sampling of yesterday's calls, but are in no way all inclusive. The intent of this log is to demonstrate the wide array of issues with which Mariposa County law enforcement must deal, in addition to investigation of serious crimes and their routine patrol.
