Mariposa County Fire Department Response log

Wednesday, June 23: Animal rescue. Mariposa County Fire Department worked for two hours using jaws of life to free a large horse from a cattle guard on Blanchard Road. Once the horse was safely removed MCFD members worked to repair the cattle guard. The horse was taken to a Central Valley veterinarian for further medical treatment. Company #26 Coulterville, #24 Don Pedro responded along with Mariposa County Public Works Department and California Highway Patrol. Wednesday, June 23: Animal rescue.
