Merced College non-credit continuing education program, (PTOA) painting and drawing classes start and sign-up dates are July 6, 7 and 8. Classes are for six weeks, beginners through advanced levels and are workshop style, from realism to abstract, landscapes, still life, and portrait/figure. Students may choose watercolor, oils, pastel, mixed mediums, colored and graphite pencil etc. and as an added option this summer a five- week paint-along using acrylics on canvas.

Materials list will be provided the first day of class or by contacting Judy Lynd at 358-1621 or www.judylynd.com. Studentsto provide their own materials.

There are no fees, but parking permits are required. Enrollment is open and on going to those 16 years and older, for more information TRI-College number is 381-6540

Class times are 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursdays. Students may take one or all three of the classes in room 5 at Merced Tri-College center on Community Drive off G Street. All levels are welcome.
