Earlier reports that a 17-year-old girl had died from injuries she sustained in a bicycle crash on Ben Hur Road on Monday morning were untrue.  According to Sheriff-Elect Doug Binnewies, the girl was flown to Memorial Hospital in Modesto for treatment. As of Tuesday morning, hospital officials were reporting that the girl was recovering well.
