Spurlin, Outreach Choir release CD

The International Evangelism Outreach Choir as recorded in Tanzania, Africa is now being released. Recorded in 2001 by the late Guy Spurlin to help support the ongoing need of the little village of Sakila was produced by Mariposa’s Brett Wise, Ross Bielinski and Kristi Spurlin.

Kristi Spurlin’s desire in accomplishing this project was to deliver through song the great passion and joy of native Africans and more selectively, exposure for the school that was started by Guy’s friend Eliudi Issangya. Eliudi, the founder of the school has been recognized repeatedly by the government for his great humanitarian work throughout Africa.

This work includes a trade school, bringing in wells for agriculture, education for children grades kindergarten through seven, the founding of an orphanage as well as a day clinic which will culminate into a much-needed hospital.

Guy Spurlin, with nothing in tow but his son Eliudi, recording equipment and a heart full of hope, traveled to The International Evangelism Center to capture the stunning and beautiful music that can now be enjoyed by people throughout the world.

CD's can be purchased for $20 at Kristi's Skate Shop, Pony Expresso, and Cousin Jack’s Music Merchant. CD’s may also be purchased or downloaded at www.cdbaby.com/cd/intlevangelism.
