Thank you
On behalf of the Cameron Mitchell family, I would like to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Department, Mariposa Search and Rescue, the California Highway Patrol, and the many other search and rescue teams who came out and gave of their time and effort to look for Cameron. We were impressed with the timely response and thorough search.
Due to the CodeRed alert, we received an overwhelming response. Many who searched on their own included neighbors, friends, and people we didn’t even know. Our heroes, Tom Griffin and Ron Loya, were searching on their quads, and while taking a break, heard our little boy crying.
We would also like to thank the many churches for their prayers and support. We would like to give a special thank you to the Mariposa First Baptist Church and the Cathey’s Valley Baptist Church for putting out the call for help and Pioneer Market for its contributions.
Last, but not least, we thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for His care and protection of our little boy during his ordeal. I am proud to live in a community that has such a caring heart.
Priscilla Quaale,
grandmother
