As a court reporter, I have seen Undersheriff Doug Binnewies excel throughout his career. He always presents himself in a professional demeanor and gives his testimony with accuracy and preparedness. I have witnessed our undersheriff working with his subordinates making sure they were ready and confident when appearing in court.

Over several years of volunteering in our schools, I have seen Undersheriff Binnewies interact with our children and one couldn’t ask for a better role model. He is always ready and willing to be called upon for our Safe and Sober All-Night Grad Party. You can often catch him up at the senior center in conversation with those folks, then helping serve their hot meal at lunchtime. He truly cares about all of us.

Undersheriff Doug Binnewies is a true leader. He leads by example. Please join me, our current sheriff, all the retired sheriffs, the sergeants (excepting his opponent), lieutenants , captains and our district attorney in voting Doug Binnewies for sheriff. He will truly make a great sheriff for Mariposa County.
