Farm Bureau backs Bibby

On behalf of the Mariposa County Farm Bureau, we would like to express our strong support for the re-election of Janet Mankins-Bibby for supervisor for District 3. While dedicated to following the rules and always demonstrating her preparedness for her duties as supervisor, Janet puts the best interests of Mariposa County and its residents at the forefront of her decision making.

Furthermore, Janet has always been a strong supporter of business, agriculture and protecting the rural character and uniqueness of Mariposa County. She is a champion of the Williamson Act and knows the important role that agriculture plays in this county not only monetarily, which is significant enough itself, but the also the positive effect it has beyond the production aspects like job creation and other associated industries that relies on agriculture like trucking, fuel vendors, veterinary supplies, fertilizer, feed and equipment sales. Though the Farm Bureau focuses directly on agriculture we can attest that Janet Bibby is well qualified to serve as the District 3 supervisor, as she holds an impressive set of educational qualifications and irreplaceable onthe job experience. Furthermore, Janet is responsible, well studied and a positive leader and influence for Mariposa County and its residents and the greater good is well served under her leadership. Please join our board’s unanimous vote in supporting a bona fide and well respected leader in Janet Bibby when you vote on June 8.
