Hanna receives BofA English award

BRIDGET HANNA BRIDGET HANNA Bridget Hanna, the daughter of Maureen and Randolph Hanna of Mariposa, has been selected as the recipient of the Bank of America certificate for English. She is a senior at Mariposa County High School.

Hanna has been an active member of the MCHS student body. She is the vice president of the senior class, president of the band as well as section leader in the alto saxophones. She is the secretary of the Spanish Club and publicity representative of the Rotary Interact Club, as well as the CSF secretary and an altar server at St. Joseph’s Church.

Hanna was the volleyball team manager, captain of the junior varsity soccer team, and an FNL and Drama Club participant.

She has received numerous awards while at MCHS. She was the most inspirational band member, and junior homecoming princess. She received awards for outstanding achievement in freshman English and junior advanced placement English. She also received the Rotary Youth Leadership Award, the Theresa Kim Arebalo Life Award and the Pure Awesome Emily Michael Award.

Hanna plans to attend St. Mary’s College of California. She hopes to be a publisher and travel the world.
