Over the years we have come to know many wonderful people here in Mariposa County. With my husband coaching baseball and football through most of the last 17 years, is where we have met most of these people. One outstanding family we have come to know quite well is the Binnewieses, Doug, Laurie and their four children. My husband coached for three Little League seasons with Doug. The Binnewies are also a neighbor of ours and our sons have spent many hours together playing. We couldn’t ask for better neighbors or for more wonderful friends.

We have really come to know Doug quite well and know of his dedication to his job and the community, as well as his family and friends. His experience and length of service with the Mariposa Sheriff’s Department makes him the perfect candidate for sheriff.
