Mariposa's Grizzlies advanced to the championship game of the Sac Joaquin Section, Division VI with a 9-4 victory in the second game of a doubleheader against Marysville. That gave Mariposa a two-game edge in the series to earn a shot at the title after Marysville took the first game, 6-5.

MCHS will face either Golden Sierra or Vacaville Christian on Monday, May 31 in the championship contest.
