Edythe Soma Hall passed away at Mt. Grant General Hospital in Hawthorne, Nev. on April 17. She was born Dec. 28, 1925 in Wahoo, NE; the youngest of seven children. She became a member of the Methodist Church in Clearfield, Iowa at an early age.

She started nursing school in Pasadena and returned to Iowa where she worked as a private duty nurse. She moved to Hawthorne in 1957. She worked in healthcare until her marriage to Harry Hall in 1972. They moved to Mariposa in the 1980s, where she worked at John C. Fremont Hospital in Mariposa.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Hall; son, Jack Thomas; her parents, five sisters, two brothers and her long-time companion, Willis Myers of Mariposa.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, her stepdaughters, Judy Eagle of Coarsegold and Gloria Mc- Dowell of Mariposa.

Arrangements are under the direction of Gunter Funeral Home in Hawthorne. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
