UCCE releases studies

UC Cooperative Extension has released new cost of production studies that examine the costs for beef cattle yearling/stocker production and costs for goats for a meat operation.

Both studies were developed by Cooperative Extension Farm Advisors and campus specialists. The studies are based upon hypothetical farms using common practices in the regions showing current production costs. Farm advisors, producers, researchers and other agricultural associates provided data input.

The studies are available online at: http://coststudies.ucdavis. edu/ or can be ordered from the: Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, University of California, One Shields Avenue, Davis, CA 95616 or the local UC Cooperative Extension office.
