Sparse crowd attends Coyote Howl

It was a fairly sparse crowd compared to years past at Saturday's Coulterville Coyote Howl. There were plenty of vendor booths, but not much of a crowd, in fact the usual flood of motorcyclists typically just passed through town.

Look for photos in this week's Mariposa Gazette.

This is dated May

This is dated May 13th...event was May 15th????; fyi...I think you are confusing the August Shindig with the Coyote Howl. There is no alcohol served at the Coyote Howl and it is primarily targeting children and families....NOT bikers! Re the crowd...while not mobbed, we had a steady flow of families all day long. About 50 children participated in the Howling contest, notably more than in recent years and we had a similar number of participants in this year's car show as last year. Too bad you did not come by and intrduce yourself to the organizers, who might have been able to give you a better perspective.
