Spotlight Call of the Week: Thursday, May 6, Escaped control burn on Sherlock Road. Unusual vegetation fire for so early in the season and late in the evening. Less than a quarter-acre burned due to the quick response of CAL FIRE and County Fire. County Fire personnel assisted CAL FIRE with extinguishing escaped burn and mop-up.
