Mother's Day breakfast planned

The Coulterville History Center’s Mother’s Day Breakfast will be held on Sunday, May 9. Both the special Mother’s Day omelettes or the traditional pancake and egg breakfast will be available.

A choice of four omlettes: strawberry, cheese, ham or veggie, or a combo of any two of the latter three, complete with pancakes and fresh fruit costs $7. Eggs cooked to order, all-you-can-eat pancakes, ham or sausage and fruit are $5 for adults, $3 for children and $15 for a family of four (two adults, two children). The Old School House, at the corner of Cemetery Street and Broadway in Coulterville is easy to find, has ample parking and will be open from 8 to 11 a.m. All attending mothers will receive a flower.

Tickets for the June 5 tri-tip dinner and the Mark Twain/Bret Harte Performance that same night will be available at the breakfast as well as tickets for the Coyote Howl dinner dance and membership applications for the History Center. Breakfast is free for new members who sign up that morning. Museum membership is open to everyone.

After breakfast, the museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Proceeds of the monthly breakfasts, held on the second Sunday every month, are used to cover operating expenses of the private, non-profit Northern Mariposa County History Center. Call 878- 3015 or visit www.coultervillemuseum. org.
